French Friday 7
Yesterday one of our final travel portfolio drawing field trips took us to Fontaine de Vaucluse. It was a touristy area due to the nice cold, crisp, clear river running through the town. We hiked on up to the water source and hung out in a perfectly cool cave. The temperature was a nice treat as it was one of the hotter days of the summer. It was a fun adventure to set up camp inside the cave to draw and sketch. I can only imagine what the other tourists thought of us. When we packed up we took a stroll through the touristy ancient paper mill to see the paper making process. It was a successful trip all around.
